Hello Everyone!!!

So this week has been an interesting week. We have been teaching more and more people and so far things are going really good! I am enjoying things so far. So we have been visiting the family that I called home from and I found out that their 18 year old son left for BYU in Provo last Thursday. I gave him our address so he can come and visit you guys. He is an Awesome guy and his family is a WONDERFUL family!!! His name is Ashton Omdahl. He is preparing to turn in his mission papers in a couple of weeks so I thought it was good for him to know Nate so they can both prepare for the same experience. I think you will really like him. He is a great guy! So the family that I called home from is the Omdahl family. They are a great family and they are actually from America! The Father works for the US Embassy and they live here in South Africa. They are a  super great family! 

So now I have a situation with my camera. I got my old camera to work and now it works just fine! I have already bought my new camera so I was thinking of sending my new one home in the box because it has a European plug anyway so it would be really good for nate. I can have it sent home before Nate goes on his mission. If it breaks all he has to do is send it to me and I will go claim the warranty on it and get a new one. I have a 2 year warranty on the camera. So let me know if you want my new camera. It is a Sony Cyber Shot. It is a really good camera. It is a 16.1 megapixel camera with a 720p HD video setting. It was on sale for the new year. Let me know as soon as possible if you want it!

Mom, I got the address for the Omdahl family (the family I called home from). Their address is:

Dallas, VA 20189

This is an American Address so you only have to pay for ordinary postage and the US Embassy will send it straight to them! Their names are Brent and Natasha Omdahl. I told them you wanted to send a letter so he gave me this address. So that is crazy that the Flu is spreading so badly!!! I cant believe that the missionaries in the MTC got the Flu so badly!!! Luckily there is no bug going around here. It is probably because of the Freezing cold temperature. That is so crazy that it is so COLD there in Utah right now!! Here it is really HOT!! So that mindset that you have for the people that come into work is the same mindset that I have for the people here! You have to have that mindset or you would get very frustrated with the people here! They do some ridiculous things here sometimes!  So far the Investigators that we have here are really good!! SO far it has been pretty good. So the SD cards that I have are in my camera and in a case that I have. I have been putting all my pictures on a flash drive that I bought a long time ago. It is LOADED with pictures. I do that so my pictures are not lost. Let me know if you still want me to send one of them home. I hope you have a great week!!

Dad, That is Crazy that people have been buying Ammo like crazy!!! I really hope that they dont get away with changing the law on weapons!! Obama needs to leave his office!! He is so crazy! So that is good that you are feeling better!! I cant believe the Flu is so bad right now!! That is so crazy that it is so COLD in Utah!! It is so Hot here in South Africa!! Our flat has no AC so it gets really hot sometimes! Its too bad I cant trade some hot for Utah's cold! So Nate is going to the temple this week??? THAT IS AWESOME!! I am excited for him!! So far everything here has been going pretty good. The big city is hard to work in that is for sure. I am slowly getting used to working here in the big city of Santon. So its good to hear that Grandma and Grandpa Parks are doing good!  I hope all is going well at home and I hope you have a great week!!!

Nate, That is Awesome that President Knudsen had all of you go up and explain how the mission calls went for you all! Hey are the Wagners still in the ward? if so has Cameron got a mission call yet? Have any more of your friends got mission calls?? That is so cool that all the guys in Mission prep got to sing called to serve in the Youth theme kickoff!! The Youth here are doing their theme kickoff at the end of the month. It is so crazy that it is so different depending on where you go. Please tell President Knudsen that I said hi as well!! Jake, So far I am doing really well here. This past week has been an interesting week. We have had a little bit of appointments but we have been able to go out and meet some good people. So how is school going? Are you enjoying your Junior year? So far our success is going ok. It is a big city so we have few appointments but it has been pretty good. Josh, So far things here in South Africa have been pretty good. Thats not good that your teachers have been behind in grading! Work hard and be patient and it will work out! I hope you have a great week and Take care!!
